Background

I started my academic career in 2008 at Gama Filho University, where I obtained my first Bachelor degree at Law-School. Two years after, in 2010, I obtained my second Bachelor degree, this time in Psychology at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In the same year I started my studies in Psychometrics at the Data Analysis Laboratory (LAND) inside the Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology Nucleus (NNCE) in Pontifical Catholic University - Rio de Janeiro. I've already concluded my research for the M.A. in 2011. Now, I am a PhD Student at the Data Analysis Laboratory at the Psychology Department of Pontifical Catholic University - Rio de Janeiro with the same advisor from my M.A., Prof. J. Landeira-Fernandez, PhD.

Previous Research and Academic Experiences

Current/2012 - Psychometrist of Ages & Stages Questionnaire Social-Emotional (ASQ-SE) - Cross-cultural adaptation project of a Screening Instrument for Child Development Assessment in the Public Child Care System of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Psychometric Properties based on Confirmatory Factor Analysis (mainly, Principal Component Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling), Exploratory Factor Analysis (Cattel's scree plot test, Velicer's MAP Test and Parallel Analysis), Classical Test Theory (Cronbach's Alpha, Item-to-Total Correlation, Domain-to-Overall Correlation, Convergent/Discriminant Correlation Analysis), Item Response Theory (Rasch Measurement Model), and Nonparametric Item Response Theory (Mokken Analysis). Also works with Multilevel Modeling with sociodemographic variables to predict children's performance at ASQ-SE.

2011/2010 - Psychometrist of Ages & Stages Questionnaire Third Edition (ASQ-3) - Cross-cultural adaptation project of a Screening Instrument for Child Development Assessment in the Public Child Care System of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Psychometric Properties based on Exploratory Factor Analysis (Cattel's scree plot test, Velicer's MAP Test and Parallel Analysis), Classical Test Theory (Cronbach's Alpha, Item-to-Total Correlation, Domain-to-Overall Correlation, Convergent/Discriminant Correlation Analysis), Item Response Theory (Rasch Measurement Model), and Nonparametric Item Response Theory (Mokken Analysis).
